Both are great car seats and many parents are happy with them but there are some very important things before making your selection. Firstly, both are great as rear-facing infant seats but Chicco NextFi is a better option for smaller babies since its minimum weight limit in rear-facing mode is 4 pounds against Graco’s 5 pounds.
On the other hand, if you want to use the car seat for a long time without buying another we think Graco 4ever is the way to go. It is really an All-in-One car seat with a 10-year expiration. You can use it as a rear-facing infant seat, then a forward-facing seat with harness, than highback booster, and lastly as a backless booster.
